On our first meeting of May the renowned and passionate film maker, Tom Hardwick, returned almost to the day one year later to entertain us once again with his vibrant enthusiasm, new toys and gadgetry.

Most of us sat there dribbling as he showed us his new Sony high definition digital video camera with its newly positioned flip out, turn around, flap back, centralised screen that doesn't conceal the operational buttons for successful film making. Toms crafted footwork and slim body demonstrated

his functionality and steadiness as a human crane and Steadicam that many of us would love to achieve in just familiar everyday action, let alone the dribbling of camera and body through the obstacle field of life.

Along with a bagful of other goodies like a digital candle that he said, due to health and safety, were used at most functions now to avoid fires.

Also, included were a couple of mobile video showing devices, disc drive and loaded down videos on a personal media centre (that could also be used to entertain your children on those very long and boring, drives to visit the relatives) of his past successful functions and weddings which we
discovered, on questioning him, are Tom's main love and career.

An enjoyable evening I think was had by all, come back and see us again Tom....real soon.
